Why Golden Hour?

Golden Hour Postpartum Care was founded with a simple belief: mothers deserve support, too.

The fourth trimester is a profound season of healing, adjustment, and transformation. While so much preparation is focused on birth, the first year that follows is often met with a quiet expectation, that mothers will simply manage, recover, and adapt on their own.

We believe in something different.

As a nurse-led postpartum support practice , Golden Hour provides personalized, in-home care designed to nurture, restore, and guide families through early motherhood with calm confidence. Our approach is rooted in clinical knowledge, emotional intelligence, and deep respect for the vulnerability of this season.

We work alongside your OB, midwife, and pediatrician, never replacing medical care, but complementing it with thoughtful education, reassurance, and steady presence in your home.

Our support may include postpartum recovery guidance, newborn care education, feeding support, overnight newborn care, and the creation of personalized fourth trimester systems that reduce mental load and foster confidence.

At Golden Hour, care is intentional and unrushed. We believe in clear boundaries, gentle communication, and personalized support that adapts to your family’s evolving needs.

This is not just help, it is a layer of steady, professional support designed to honor the earliest days of parenthood.

When mothers feel supported, families thrive.

Meet the Team

Jacqueline Pinkston-Iliopoulos, RN

Hello, I’m so happy you’re here.

My name is Jacqueline “Jacky,” a true desert girl, born and raised in the Phoenix Valley. My personal world is vivid and full. I’m married to a talented chef, and together we are raising five beautiful children, ranging in age from 15 years to 15 months.

During my “quiet” hours, I somehow find joy in sweating through hot barre, mat Pilates, and yoga to keep the energy flowing, usually followed by a full concert session in my minivan (sunroof open, of course). Once a month, you’ll find me at neighborhood book club, that month’s cliff notes in hand, sitting in front of the charcuterie board. I deeply appreciate life’s little moments that make the big moments memorable.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Phoenix, Arizona. I will complete my Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree over the next two years to expand my services to moms in need. I have six years of experience in healthcare, with a clinical background in pediatric ICU, perioperative nursing, and home hospice, and a highly experienced mom.

There are a few characteristics about me that feel important to share. I am intentional in my decisions. I put my best effort into explaining the “why,” and I seldom shy away from a difference of opinion. I believe a lack of perspective is often the one thing standing in the way of overcoming challenges. I ask that you keep an open mind when you don’t recognize the girl in the mirror, this is your reminder that you are a blank canvas, and we are simply painting a new picture.

I am conscious of avoiding labels while honoring each person’s individuality. I know that being a mom can feel isolating, even in a room full of other moms. Golden Hour is more than a service to me, it is a community. It is my duty to honor the wishes of each mother through the lens of respect and understanding, always using the safest possible approach and placing deep value on the quality of your care.

I wanted to create the kind of care I believe every mother deserves, calm, personalized, respectful, and informed. Care that isn’t rushed. Care that doesn’t overwhelm. Care that doesn’t replace medical providers, but gently fills the space between appointments. Care that acknowledges that recovery is physical, emotional, and deeply human.

This practice is rooted in both my clinical training and my lived experience. I know what it feels like to sit in the quiet of early motherhood, the beauty and the heaviness of it. I know the power of having someone present who understands what is normal, what needs attention, and what simply needs reassurance.

Thank you for considering me in moments of uncertainty and trusting that you can feel safe in your vulnerability and be free from judgment. There is an opportunity to begin filling the gaps in women’s health by changing the narrative. Postpartum is about mom. We have someone caring for the baby, now it’s time to share the focus. Because a mama in rhythm keeps a baby in rhythm.

From one Mom to another with love,
Jacqueline
